Kingdom of Buganda
Baganda people are the largest ethnic group in Uganda. The Buganda Kingdom was a powerful, centralized state with a sophisticated political system. The Kabaka ruled through a council of ministers (Lukiiko). Suppressed during Idi Amin’s rule, the kingdom was restored in 1993.

Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom
